This is my 4th book holder. Still trying to find one that really works well. This one is not any better than the others. I gave one as a gift and have not had a response from my giftee. So I gather she was not overwhelmed either.

Trying to keep a book in place while walking on the treadmill is a pain. The treadmill has a shelf to hold the book, but the pages keep closing. This little holder works great at holding your place and is easy to flip to the next page without having to take everything loose.

I like the flip clip. It’s easy to use and works with various thickness of books. It doesn’t hold them tight and real flat (like the Paperbax does), but then again that’s easier on your book and easier to turn the pages. It’s compact and easy to take with you. I use it when I’m reading while on my exerciser. It’s great. I would like one that is easier to flip pages quicker without having to undo the clip. It looks like the Easy Read one will do that. I haven’t tried that one yet. It doesn’t have a flip out stand like the paperbax does either. But I find myself using the flip clip much more than the paperbax as it is easier on my book, can take thicker books and is easier to turn the pages.

I bought the FlipKlip at the same time as the Paperbax holder, and I would have to say that the FlipKlip seems like a better product, at least for my uses. The FlipKlip is very small, but the design and the springs work very well at holding both narrow and wide books to their open pages. I’ve been using the FlipKlip on exercise machines at the gym for several weeks now, and it’s never let me down. (The Paperbax is larger and therefore a bit less portable, and it’s harder to turn pages with its design than with the FlipKlip.)

I use this book holder when I am knitting. It is a great product for this purpose. I’ve been looking for a lap-style book holder that leaves my hands free. This does just the trick! I am able to knit easily and it allows me to flip the page without too much fiddling! I love it and would recommend it to others!!
